$1 Ribs on July 3rd

Hey Everyone!

Come down to Famous Dave’s in West Jordan to support The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  

Channel 2 will be holding their survivor casting auditions and ribs are only a dollar from noon to 4 p.m.  All proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation so come down get some grub and watch the wacky auditions.  Also, watch channel 2 from 6 to 8 a.m. where Matt Meese will be the spokesperson for CF!

Aztreonam Study

Ok so its been one week since I have been on Aztreonam. I love it! It takes 2 to 3 min to inhale and can I just tell you how great  that is compared to the 45 min that TOBI takes. I feel great it's been hard to tell a difference just because the air quality is bad right now and my asthma has been acting up due to the air but I really think its making a difference. I do PFT's in the beginning of Aug so I guess that will be when we know for sure but I am hoping to blow the same or better then last time so I don't have to go into the joint.

STUDY BACKGROUND INFORMATION: 

Aztreonam Lysine for Inhalation is now available to people with CF who meet specific criteria through an expanded 

access program. Although not yet approved by the FDA for general use, Aztreonam Lysine for Inhalation will be 

available to patients with chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa airway infection who have limited treatment options and 

are at risk for disease progression.

Highlights from the pug party

Oscar & Lilly had a great time at the pug party there were about 40 pugs there... Their favorite was a lil pug named Otis. There was even a kiddie pool there for the pugs to cool down in. Lilly loved it but Oscar was to concerned about his ball. He loves his soccer ball!

Happy Bday my handsome lil boy I mean BIG BOY!

Today is Oscar's Bday and he turns 4!! What a BIG BOY!! Lilly and I are going to take him to the dog park today and we are going to play outside. Last night he got to play with his buddy Aj and I think Lilly may have a lil crush on Aj she is such a flirt. So since Oscar turns 4 we had a BIG BOY photo shoot for him and he borrowed some of Grandpas bow ties he did such a good job here are some of the pics...

 Makena had her very first dance recital and she was a star!!! She went around and around and around. The best part was the only thing to get her out on the stage was a sucker that Tammy had brought for her. Smart thinking Tam it worked!
