I am officially 32 aka 32ubular!!!! Technically I am 32 and 9 days but who's counting, so far I am loving every second of it!


Today my sweet lil guy is 7!  Holy cow how is that possible?!?!?! Seems like just yesterday he didn't know how to go up the stairs.

And drum roll please.... This is my 500th post!! Which also doesn't seem possible... Crazy!

It's starting to warm up here, this weekend we will have perfect 70-80 degree weather can't wait! Enjoy your weekend everyone!  I'm excited to get the vespa out! Xo

Ok Day 3 of the blog Challenge

My First Love


Hmmm how to interpret this one?...

Well I could talk about my first kiss which was at CF camp I think I was 8 and had a crush on this boy Sam. His family owned the camp grounds and worked there he was about 12, we kissed the very last day of camp... Wonder what  ever happened to him?

Or my crush on Bo from Days of our Lives, again I was about 8. I was quite the lil flirt when I was lil. My mom watched this show everyday so naturally I got hooked. I cried when he married Hope and even took pictures of the tv screen when they sailed off on their yacht for their honeymoon.... Pathetic!

But I think I will interpret it a lil more literal and talk about my real first love.... Oscar Love! And what a love he is.

I am lucky to have two loves but Oscar was born 11 months before Lilly so that makes him my first love.

My lil guy is gong to be 7 June 3, I can't believe it. He is such a good baby, he has so many great qualities he is very caring and a very protective of both Lilly and I. If Lilly is on my lap he will just sit on the floor and stare at me til I invite him up. He loves to cuddle and is always following me wherever I go. I have my very own body guard.

My friend Cindy gave me the cutest pug boy and girl salt and pepper shakers, the boy is suppose to have pepper in it but I had to put salt in him Lilly is definitely Pepper and Osc is definitely salt. So easy going and simple. It's crazy how different they both are.

I love when I play ball with the babies I have to keep Osc focused on catching it. Lilly does most the fetching, Osc gets distracted with the grass or the different smells. Its so funny to watch them. Here he is eating grass.

If Osc ever is in trouble which is rare but if I get mad at him he will go hide under my bed for 30-40 min. Or until I go get him and give him loves and tell him he's forgiven, it's so cute. Honestly I think my pugs could have some human in them ;)

My Buds, Buppy, Osc, Oscy.... Body Guard, protector. You are the best First Love Ever! Thank you for always making me smile and loving me no matter what. I love you Oscar Love! ♥

My lil guy is 6

Happy Birthday Oscar Love! I love you SO much and am so grateful for you... My lil guy loves to cuddle, snuggle and love his momma. He is such an AMAZING big brother to Lilly and protects her and is always looking out for her. I can't believe he is 6 today. My babies sure are growing up right before my eyes.

I love when Osc knows he is in trouble and he won't look me in the eye and will go hide under my bed until I tell him I love him and he can come out. So then he slowly comes out and showers me with kisses.

Oscar keeps me in line too. He sits by his food dish like clockwork 5:00 rolls around and he know din is around the corner. Love ya lil man Happy Birthday and bones(cheers) to many more ;)

Leave him Alone!

Yes Patty, knock on wood I have never been stung by a bee, hornet, or wasp. To me they are all same and equally as scary. I am so scared of them and for some reason they always seem to find me. I once gave a wasp a 10 min ride on my shoulder unknowingly until someone was so kind to point it out well in between shrills almost fainting I was unharmed. They even seem to find me in the winter I have no idea...

I did read "The Secret Life of Bees" and in that book they described the creatures as angels or lil guardians so maybe that is what bees are for me my lil guardians.

Oscar on the other hand is not so lucky. Well if you remember back in April when I went to the Er and the next day Osc had to go to the ER. Well he was stung then, and again last Wed. I woke up to one itchy pug with a swollen eye. I thought not again, I gave him a benedryl and I think I caught just in time. He only got about three hives total rather then a whole body fully covered in big itchy hives. So I stayed home and worked on a painting so I could monitor his breathing. I gave him a benedryl every 6 hours and his eye returned to normal size and low and behold we made it without a trip to the ER.

Well most of you know Oscar has anxiety and is already a very sensitive pup. I think today the emotionally scars have finally healed. My poor lil guy was so scared of the grass and ground. He is back to following my every step but not without a thorough search of the ground he is about to embark on. The first night he wouldn't leave the couch so I made the most comfy bed for him and he would jump from furniture to furniture.

His poor lil swollen and itchy face. I found the bump right on his ear no wonder his eye got swollen.

This one makes me so sad you can even see some redness.

Happy Birthday to my BIG boy!

Wow I can't believe Oscar is 5 today! Seems like just yesterday he fit in the palm of my hand. Osc is such a lil love! He loves his head to be scratched and he loves to cuddle with his momma when Lills allows it. We are headed to the Dog park today and he gets to get special bones. I am sure his grandparents have some treats in store for him too. He has been getting calls and texts and lots of Bday wishes since midnight last night! He loves his bday just like his mom :) He sends you all Pugs & Kisses and lots of snorts and licks!

Wordy Wednesday!!

Well I have been MIA for a while so today is definitely NOT wordless :)

Here is my poor lil guy in his new favorite spot avoiding the carpet where he usually lays... Excuse my mess...

This is what I cam home to on my bed a pillow mound that my bro built so Makena wouldn't fall off my Bed is 4 ft off the ground so he got a lil nervous

Here is my lil Mc Noodle sound asleep she is so cute we had so much fun she loves her Aunt Somer. I even painted her nails grey just like mine. Also when I put her in bed I kissed her good night and tucked her in, all of a sudden I heard her saying her prayers It was so cute she even prayed for Osc and Lills

All in a 24 hour time frame

Well I had a pretty good weekend until Sun at 2:15 pm 

I had gotten home from brunch and I was getting ready for my lil McNoodle to come over. It was Shane's Bday on Mon (Happy Bday Big Bro) so him and Tam were going up to Park city to stay the night they were dropping her off at 2:30. Well when I got home from brunch I thought I would throw the ball for the babies outside so they weren't so hyper when Makena arrived. 

So when I walked in from throwing the ball. I had a lil wheeze/gurgle so I coughed and out came blood... My first thought was not again!!! This time however was a lot worse it wouldn't stop. I kept having to clear my airways and I couldn't stay on top of it so I called my mom and had her hurry over to get me to the ER. She was just leaving so she came right over. (She lives across the street from me) I was SO scared and so upset cause I just wanted to watch Makena so we grabbed what we needed and hauled a#$ to the Er. My mom passed a cop on the opposite side of the freeway so she started to slow down I told her to keep hauling a#$ because if we got pulled over they would just get us there faster. I called my Dad to get over to my house so he could watch Makena so Shane and Tam wouldn't have to cancel and I didn't want them to be upset so we fibbed and just said I needed to run up to the U for a med. I don't think they were falling for it but they dropped of Makena and were off. 

Mean while the blood finally stopped about 10 min away from the ER, my sats were still low so I decided maybe I better just go anyways and at least get a chest x ray. I walked in and said I needed O2 they check my sats and they were hovering around 87 so this got me right in a room. So we all know how long an ER stay can be they did an x ray and they wanted to rule out a clot so they ordered a ct scan with a dye. Well the dye is hard on the kidneys so I had to have 2 bags of fluid one before and one after the dye which couldn't go thru the "Thipple" so I had to get a iv in my arm. They ruled out a clot and I wasn't coughing up anymore blood so they sent me home.

I got home and I was exhausted and it was Makenas bed time so we hit the rack! Oh yeah and Shane and Tam found out, the gig was up but I tried to explain I just didn't want them to worry and have fun. 

My mom was also going to spend the night but I told her we would be fine. Well Osc was acting so weird. He didn't sleep at all and was shaking his head and scratching at his collar the whole night so I was up with him and at 4:30 am when I went to check on him his eye was completely swollen shut. He was obviously allergic to something so I gave him a benedryl he was still acting so weird and wasn't sleeping so I sat with him for the rest of the night at 6 am I finally called my mom who panicked thinking something was wrong with me. I told her it was Osc this time and that I needed to stay with him so I wanted her to come over to sleep with Makena just so she wouldn't fall out of the bed or get scared. So my Mom came over and I slept in the other room with Osc and Lills. Around 8 we woke up and Osc still was acting weird but his eye was not as swollen. So around 10 Mon morning I decided I better take him in. So I packed up Makena and Osc and poor Lills was not sure about staying home alone. Osc had hives and was not getting better so the vet thinks he got stung by a bee. He has been stung by a bee once before and had an allergic reaction to it that time as well. He got 2 big shots and has to take an antibiotic, he has 3 bites on his lil body. I feel so bad for him. Shane and Tam came and got Makena around 2:30. as soon as they left it was nap time for me and the babies we were all exhausted. Mon night we celebrated Shanes 31st Bday at MaCools a lil Irish pub. I was so tired and now in a food coma after my huge portion of Shepherd's pie :)

So I left a lil early so I could get back to Osc finish my Meds and get to bed. So it was a crazy 24 hours. 

We are both on the mend, Osc is still a lil paranoid he watches his every step on the look out for either a bee or a spider. I am a lil on the exhausted side and have been taking it easy. My CF doc called and said that he thinks I may have just popped a blood vessel again, it was definitely a scary feeling. The good news is from the last CT scan and x rays I had there seems to be no CF changes. That is always a good thing!!

5 Days and Counting...

Well it's definitely going to be a white Christmas! It snowed all day yesterday and it's suppose to everyday up until Thurs. I have just a couple more things to complete and then I am done! I hope everyone isn't to stressed with the hustle and bustle of these last 5 days. I have only had one stressful situation and it still has not been resolved. I was a head of the game and got all my packages that needed to be sent off on the 10th (which is the first time ever). Every package has reached is destination except one :( Which not only contained a Christmas present but also a Birthday present. So I am hoping for a Christmas miracle that it gets there Mon. Not to worry Sare I am going to duplicate the box the best I can if it doesn't get there. It will just be late but I promise you worth the wait :)

The babies are getting groomed today so they can be pretty for the Holidays. I shave them once a month or every other, they hardly shed at all by doing this. But I was hesitant today I don't want them to freeze their tails off. But they assured me that they wouldn't plus they have boots and sweaters if needed. :) The pic above is of Oscar in 2005 he is a good sport he doesn't like dressing up at all! I think he does it to appease me. Everyone stay warm and be safe out there!!

Breaking Records...

I am very happy to report that I escaped the joint once again. I had to blow today and my PFT's were down a lil, but not enough for lock up. I am so excited and so proud of myself! I could possibly make it thru the holidays. If that is the case this is the longest in 3 years that I have been out of the joint!  Holiday... Celebrate!! HIP HIP HOORAY!! Also another positive note is since I haven't had to use antibiotics since March the next time I do use them I am hoping they will bump my Fev1 a bit higher maybe even back into the 40's!! 

On a not so positive note My baby boy has been throwing up since 4pm its so sad. If he's not better in the morning we are vet bound. He can't seem to get comfortable tonight. I hope he is okay I have no idea what would be wrong with him unless he ate something funky while we were playing outside today. Keep your fingers crossed we can by pass the vet. I have my alarm set for every 2 hours so I can check on him throughout the night.

When I blow dry my hair

The babies do so many quirky things that always seem to make me laugh so I thought I would start posting some of them. 

When I am getting ready Oscar can be anywhere in the house usually sound asleep in his bed but as soon as I turn on my blow dryer he assumes position between my feet. I can't really figure it out why but without fail every time the blowdryer turns on he comes running in and lays down between my feet. I am not sure if he loves the sound or if he is on guard ready to protect me??? Lilly is the complete opposite she loves to watch me get ready and she will be sitting there the whole time but as soon as the blowdryer goes on she is out of there.

This morning I had my phone on the counter so I thought I would take a couple pics of Osc....

Today Oscar had his 4 year old check up and he was such a good boy considering he is not to fond of the place. He got 2 shots and was ready to leave right after they were given to him. He had a clean bill of health and has lost 3.5 lbs. Gramma came over again before we left so she could watch Lilly and give her a special bone while we were away. Here are a couple of pics of Osc the first one with him waiting patiently. The last 2 were him waiting patiently by the door he was ready to go, to bad these were taken way before the shots. Both my babies are healthy and happy they don't have to go back until next year!

Happy Bday my handsome lil boy I mean BIG BOY!

Today is Oscar's Bday and he turns 4!! What a BIG BOY!! Lilly and I are going to take him to the dog park today and we are going to play outside. Last night he got to play with his buddy Aj and I think Lilly may have a lil crush on Aj she is such a flirt. So since Oscar turns 4 we had a BIG BOY photo shoot for him and he borrowed some of Grandpas bow ties he did such a good job here are some of the pics...
