McNoodle had her dance performance, she did SO awesome and was so darling. As soon as she got on stage I yelled GO MCNOODLE!!! She smiled and waved. We went to yogurt after to celebrate her big night. I had to get a pic of her and of course she is such a poser!

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Its been nice weather here a lil cold for some people but perfect for me. Basically San Diego weather, which it doesn't get better than that.

Day 30 of the 30 day Blog Challenge

I am so excited to have completed this challenge. It got me back in the blogging groove. Hmm now I wonder what I should do next ;)

Ok so Day 30 is a picture and this pic always makes me smile its one of my favorites. Its of McNoodle when she went to disneyland right after she was potty trained and she happen to be wearing Ariel underwear that day. So when she saw Ariel well she could hardly stand it she had to show her that she was on her unders so she ran up to her and pulled up her dress, she was SO excited!!!! So cute!!!

The BIG One Hand!!

My McNoodle is 5 today!!! Where did the time go.... Seems like yesterday she was just barely crawling.

I am so proud to be her Aunt. She is such a lil princess. We had a sleepover last weekend and had the best time. I love that her favorite dog in the world is a pug and she just loves the babies so much and they absolutely adore her. They are so pooped when she leaves they don't really sleep thru the night when she stays over because they are always checking on her. I don't really sleep thru the night either with kicky kickerson sleeping next to me ;)

I also love the Makena loves hearts and she loves her nick name that I gave her McNoodle. She is quite the ham when ever her picture is being taken and has a variety of poses that she loves to do. We love doing arts and crafts and playing vet and I love when we play beauty parlor :) Two peas in a pod I tell ya!

Today she is getting her ears pierced and then we are having a family bday party for her. I can't wait to give her her gifts. Ill take a pictures for sure, we are going to be pretty cute in our new matching pug shirts :)

1st day of preschool

Makena had her 1st day of preschool on Mon. She looked adorable her mom got her up early and curled her hair so cute! Im loving the tie look ;)

I went and picked her up after school and we celebrated by getting two items at the target dollar section which is fabulous lil section if I do say so myself. She picked some heart sun glasses, and some sparkly pencils.

Then we ran some errands and played with the pugs for a bit. Of course no day is complete without a photo shoot with new heart glasses...

McNoodle cracks me up! I love our daily phone chats... longest one so far 40 min.

Here our some Makenisms that I just think are adorable,

While playing vet she was the vet and I was the customer and she takes a look at our x ray machine and says "just as I expected..."
When she takes the stuffed animals temperatures she always says "O my gosh it' 18 50 hundred" that is a bad temp for sure ;)

If you ask her a question and she doesn't know she says, "I do NOT (as her eyes get real big) Know" or if you ask her if she wants to do something she says "sure" instead of yes... too funny

When she calls me since Lills' surgery she always asks "is Lilly doing better?" then she says whatcha ya doin? She calls voice mails e mails and when she leaves me messages she says Why are you not answering maybe your eating breakfast or doing chores. We always finish our convo with the I love you the most NO I love you the most game! I just love her....

She loves playing princesses, vet, and can't get enough of her fav cousins Oscar and Lilly and is hoping that one she turns 5 she can be the proud owner of a pug! I am not sure her parents are to keen on the idea.

And her new favorite song is California girls by Katy Perry.
Good thing she doesn't know all the words ;)

Of course she needed to be matching with me so she got a butterfly on her ankle :)

The Princess and her Hammer

Home Depot does a Kids Club the first Sat of every month you should sign up your lil one it is a free activity that can be fun.

However Tammy and I had a tough start, we messed up our project twice and had to take out all the nails that Makena hammered in which I guess was ok since that was Makenas favorite part. We offered to purchase the finished project more than once ;)

But we finally finished the periscope and Makena earned her pin. I even got one too! :) Makena dressed herself today notice all her bling and her colored hair extensions... a true princess! Or as she would say she got Lovely for the day!

1derful indeed!

Another great bday!!!! The 31derful was definitely 1derful!

I woke up at 6am it was very early but I wanted to enjoy the whole day... the babies definitely take after me they are not early risers this is them at 6 am not very happy. I got home from coffee around 11 and they were just getting up. I just love them!

I met some friends for coffee at 9 and when I came home I found mylar balloons all over my house and yard. It was a very fun surprise from my Dad. I only got a couple shots but you get the idea.

Always at 3 on my bday my parents and I go to coffee... I started this tradition about 6 or 7 years ago. We always have a great time.

Makena made me a special bracelet... with my name on it and an assortment of colored beads. I made her one too its are BFF bracelets. I wear it daily along with these other ones that I never take off. The first one says "Love the Life you Live" The second one says "nothing is worth more than this day" then the third one is my cross I got for my bday last year from some friends and the fourth one is my BCF bracelet with Shar, which by the way she gave me quite the tribute on her blog, read that post here. Shar I was truly honored to read this, you are an AMAZING BCF! The Fifth one says Health and then the sixth one is the masterpiece that Makena made.

These were the balloons on top of my cake that my mom got me it was a princess Nothing Bundt Cake they are so yummy my favorite is the red velvet which is what my mom got me. YUMMM!! I didn't get any pics of it so I will have to wait to see if anyone else did.

Flowers from Josh & Cath were on my door step when I got home from coffee with my parents.

After coffee with my parents I went to din later on with the fam at one of my favorite places the Porcupine. It was so much fun to just be surrounded by so much love. I am honestly blessed beyond measure. I have the best family and friends in the world! Thank you to everyone who made my bday SO VERY special! I will have to share more highlights as I download the pics.

I can't believe today is June 1st so crazy!

Favorite Dress... Pug O war and a lil in between

This weekend lots of time outdoors and lots of ball was played. Its 75 today and beautiful... For those of you that really know me I am wearing "THE DRESS" today first day of the season :) Ill fill you all in...

You know that one article of clothing that you can't wear enough... Well I have this dress you all have seen me in it it's the one I am wearing in both pics on this blog with my babies the header and the one wear they are dressed up. Yep the turquoise one... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!!! It even made it's debut when I was in the TOBI calendar. It fits great is SO comfy and no bra needed. I bought it in NY at H&M 4 years ago and I haven't been able to find anything like it since, that is why it seems to gets cycled in at least once a week in the spring/summer. We all started calling it "The Dress" So just know that I am So comfortable today ;) My mom always is on the look out for something comparable (I think she gets sick of seeing me in it). But honestly nothing comes close. Patty and Kathy I am going to see if your mom can duplicate it for me in other colors when she gets here. I have heard she is Very talented. Then I can wear it EVERYDAY!!!! :)

I also have a Jimmy Buffet T shirt that I seem to wear a ton too... Only in private tho its one of my pj tees. It has holes and I wore it while painting once. oops I am not a neat painter. It started out being a bright yellow it is now a light yellow peach....

I rode my Vespa ALL over this weekend too... Loving this Spring weather. My house is getting hot I refuse to turn the air on tho and I cant open windows because we have these beautiful but VERY STINKY trees that line my street I will have to take a pic. But they are in FULL bloom and In FULL stink!

Happy Birthday McNoodle! I can't believe you are 4.

Seems like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms for the first time!

I am so proud of you and all you do, you make me smile every day. I love that your favorite shape is hearts and when asked why you say because your Aunt Somer does. I also love how you answer questions with a thumbs up or a simple "sure". I love when we have sleepovers and I love when we dance and play dress up and work on art projects. I love that when I say I am coming over you warn me that you have a runny nose or a cough so that I know to not get to close.

I have so much fun with you and I LOVE you SO VERY much! Thank you for being the best McNoodle ever! Xo

The Babies LOVE their cousin Makena! They follow her every where and can't get enough of her. It's so sad to see them when she leaves especially Osc he just mopes around. We introduced River to the babies. Ill post that video tomorrow it's too funny!

Tuesday 10

*This is how I felt this morning before my albuterol and coffee

*Last week Osc and Lills had their yearly check ups. They got their shots and Lills had a clean bill of health she is 2 years cancer free now!! Woop Woop. Osc on the other hand had a ear infection which I feel so bad I had no idea. He was acting a lil lazy and when I throw the ball he was just hanging by my side while lIlly did all the work so I was nervous he was just getting older or his hip or knees were bothering him but I guess it was just his ears poor guy. So I have had to clean his ears daily and he has been on abx ear drops and pill for 10 days only a couple more left. The whole way there and back Lilly sat in Makenas car seat it is the first time they have been in my car with that in there, it was SO cute.

*So I figured out what I am doing to my front porch furniture, I can't wait. I ordered everything on line so I am just waiting for it to get here. I already took my before pics :)

*My lil Cystas Astra and Mackenzie are home now. Today is Mackenzie's Bday!! Happy BDay Mackenzie :) And Astra's bday is in 6 days! You guys might remember her from the TOBI calendar in 2008 she was Miss July.

*Thinking about getting a tattoo.... Just need to find a nice sterile environment for that.

Monday, Monday...

Ok so I know I have been so bad at blogging I just have been busy busy!!

So we all know my cute not so lil nephew popped out. I have been loving on him every chance I get he is absolutely perfect. He is already wearing 3 month onezies and didn't even fit into newborn diapers, NFL watch out!

Well while the fam was off to the joint poppin out River I got to watch Makena I had her wed night til Sat. Let me just say mother's day should be ever day. I don't know how you guys do it. Oscar and Lilly have never had more fun they love their cousin. Lills and Osc followed her every move and were so sad when they had to go to bed. Oscar slept right in the door way of my room he was her lil protector.

Wed night Makena made a big mess with all the dog toys so I told her to clean it up and if she did she could turn on my oxygen :) It worked! It was so cute we went to turn on my O2, my concentrator is in the basement so Lilly went down the stairs first then Makena would get to the stair Lills was on then Lills would go down a couple more and wait. It was so fun to watch the babies around Makena.

Makena was so good for me and honestly was a laugh a minute. The things she says crack me up here are just a couple;

Aunt Somer: Makena I am hungr should we make popcorn?

Makena: YES! But don't tell my Mom or Dad k It will just be our lil secret

Aunt Somer: Why can you not have popcorn?

Makena: Of course I can

Before the shower

Aunt Somer: Lets go potty first

Makena: I don't have to go

Aunt Somer: Well let's just try

Makena: (as she points to the shower and tilts her head with a sly look) You know it's ok if I just go in there

In bed

Makena: Aunt Somer let's tell pooky stories ok ( pooky is spooky)

She uses Of course and actually all the time. She is SO funny! We had a blast we went to coffee and yogurt. Don't worry she had choc milk even tho she pretended it was hot coffee :)

I had to run and get more vitamins down at USANA and she fell in love with the waterfall in the lobby she thought it was the coolest thing ever.

We found a dandelion that you blow on and make a wish and her wish was that she could go to Aunt Somer's every day.... How cute is that it melted my heart.

Well I had a brilliant idea.. Thanks to Brooke I was able to borrow one of her old car seats so now I can pick up Makena and give Tam a break while she is on her busy feeding regime with River cause thats all he like to do. Eat and sleep!
