A GREAT DAY FOR MIRACLES!!!
Sharlie got the call last night and is currently in the OR at Stanford receiving a new heart and lungs as I type. The pic above is Shar last night waiting to hear if it was a go and reading all her amazing messages from what seems like the world.... She is SO loved!!!! You can also see she is wearing her Sharlies Angels tee... I put mine on last night too and am not taking it off until after her surgery. ;)
Please keep her in your prayers and send her positive thoughts as well as the surgeon team and the donor's family. Please also keep Sharlie's family in your thoughts and prayers. This waiting business is nerve racking and is filled with lots of emotion, but most of all HOPE and Excitement!!!! I cannot wait for Shar to begin her new incredible journey where she can BREATHE!!!
I love you Shar SO SO VERY MUCH!! BCF 4EVA!!!! XO8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will be updates on Sharlies Angels Facebook page so follow that!!

Love is ALL around!
It is so true, everywhere I look I see love...

I just read Beyond Breathing by Margarete Cassalina CLICK HERE to visit her web site.
I really recommend you get this book, plus 65% of her royalties go directly back to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fund research to find that sought after cure. Remember 99 cents of every dollar donated to the CFF goes directly to research!

So back to reading this amazing book... I started it after dinner one night and the next thing I knew it was 2 am and I was finished and felt like I had gained a new friend! Margarete is SO strong and very inspiring, this book moved me in so many ways. I feel like I already live by so many of the lessons that I took from this book. I guess reading this book just validated my thoughts and confirmed my purpose. (thank you Avenue Q)
Jena is an inspiration! I know that she lived a VERY full life and accomplished so much in her 13 short years here on earth than most people do in a WHOLE lifetime! Jena said "when you can see love you can see me" How smart is that... For those of you that know me know I couldn't agree more with Jena. Love is so many things, and giving all your love and touching as many lives as you can while on this earth is what I think life is all about! Jena's love lives on in all the lives she has touched and all the lives she continues to touch each and every day.
"When you can see Love, You can See Me" Jena Cassalina

Love has also touched my Cyster Eva... She is dying and still has SO much LOVE to give! She posted a video on her blog with such a powerful message to just LOVE! I wish you peace Eva and lots of LOVE! Please say a prayer that she will get a third chance at life, she So deserves it. She is SO strong and isn't done LOVING yet...
I wish you ALL a VERY Happy LOVE day! I hope it is filled with lots of LOVE and so many hugs! Go out and LOVE for Jena and Eva! Xo

Prayer Request!!
Please pray for Tanya! She hit a bump on her road to recovery. Part of one of her lungs collapsed and she had to be put back on the vent. They also had to re place a chest tube to drain some fluid from her lungs. She is strong but could use some positive thoughts and prayers sent her way! Keep your chin up T.... I am praying that this is just a lil bump and you will be back on your way outta the joint in no time!

Prayer Request for my Cyster Sara

Mike was updated that the surgery is going very well - she went under smoothly, everything is running as expected, and they are working on getting the lungs in.The surgery will probably go til 2 pm.
Please pray that the surgery goes well and that My Cyster will have a speedy recovery! She has been waiting over 2 years and 30 days for these new lungs I am so happy that she finally got her miracle. Please also pray for the donor family as they are dealing with their loss. I am so thankful that they made the decision to donate and to give the gift of life.

Please take a second and say a prayer for my friend Will.
He has had some complications with his recovery and is back in the ICU and getting some help from the vent. It's just a lil bump in the road, he is so strong and he will get through all this and it will be so worth it!! His family is by his side and his mom is the most positive person I know! Terri, Tom and Will you are all in my payers!
